Tellr for Claude

Connect your Tellr workspace to Claude and just ask — how many comments went live, where you show up in Google's AI answers, which threads are worth going after next.

Before you start

You need a Tellr account. If you don't have one, start here — signing up is free.

Connect it

  1. 1In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. 2Paste this address:https://usetellr.com/api/mcp
  3. 3Claude will send you to Tellr to sign in with the email you already use. There is no API key to copy or store.
  4. 4Pick your workspace and approve. Access is read-only.

Claude Code works too: claude mcp add --transport http tellr https://usetellr.com/api/mcp

Any other MCP client that connects to remote servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in can use the same address.

Read-only

The connector reads your workspace and changes nothing. Keywords, drafts and publishing stay in the Tellr dashboard.

Disconnect at any time from Settings → Connections in Tellr. Access stops immediately.

What it covers

Everything your Tellr dashboard shows, section by section. Each appears only if your workspace has it. Answers come back short, with the numbers, dates and links behind them.

Reddit
Comments and posts live, subreddits reached, threads worth a comment, keywords.
Try: “How many comments went live last week, and where?”

Try: “Are we in Google's AI Overview for our key keywords?”
Citations
The sites Google and its AI Overview send buyers to, ranked, and the outreach asking them to mention you.
Try: “Which sites get cited most for our keywords, and do they mention us?”

Try: “Which of our pages should we refresh first?”
Search topics
What people search for around your site, grouped into topics, each with a page and a recommended move.
Try: “What topics are we getting impressions for but no article?”
Ads
Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads spend, clicks, conversions and cost per conversion, by campaign and search term.
Try: “What did we spend on LinkedIn last month, and what converted?”
YouTube
Creators ranking for your keywords, and where your own channel ranks.
Try: “Which YouTube creators rank for our keywords but don't mention us?”

Things to ask

  • How did we do on Reddit this month?

Comments that went live, the subreddits they landed in, and how that compares with last month.

  • Are we showing up in Google's AI answers?

Per keyword: whether Google writes an AI Overview, whether you're cited in it, and where you rank.

  • What threads should we go after this week?

Open Reddit threads worth a comment, ranked, with what's already being said about you there.

  • What posts are we waiting on?

Original posts Tellr has written for you — live, on their way up, or drafted and waiting.

  • Who does Google cite for our keywords?

The sites Google and its AI Overview send buyers to, ranked, and which of their pages mention you.

What it can do

  • Read your results, keywords, rankings, threads, comments and posts
  • Read who Google and its AI Overview cite for your keywords
  • Read every other section your workspace has — articles, ads, YouTube and more
  • Answer with the numbers and links behind every claim

What it can't

  • Change anything — it is read-only
  • Publish anything or spend your balance
  • See or touch any workspace other than the one you connected
  • Read your conversations with Claude — we never receive them

If something breaks

If Claude can't reach the connector, disconnect and re-add it — that re-runs the sign-in. If an answer looks wrong, check you connected the right workspace: every answer names the brand it's about.
