Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Tellr — the website, the dashboard, client workspaces, and the Tellr connector for AI assistants. By using Tellr you agree to them. If your company has signed an order form or agreement with us, that document governs where it differs from these terms. We've kept them plain-language on purpose.

The service

Tellr is a managed program that puts your brand where buyers, and the AI models answering them, look. Depending on your plan it includes:

• Reddit presence. We find relevant threads and draft comments and posts in your voice. Approved items are published by our partners from their own established Reddit accounts — never yours.
• Content. We research, write and illustrate articles for your site, and can push them to your WordPress.
• Answer visibility. We track where you and your competitors appear in Google results and AI answers, which pages get cited, and help you reach the people behind them.
• Paid media. We analyse ads in your category and produce briefs and creative based on them.

Workspaces are set up by us. Self-serve signup and pay-as-you-go purchases are closed; existing pay-as-you-go accounts can still sign in and view their history.

Your account

You're responsible for the people you give access to your workspace and for keeping sign-in links and credentials private. Tell us at team@usetellr.com if you think someone has access who shouldn't.

Approvals and your content

• You stay in control. You can keep an approval gate on so nothing goes live without your sign-off. You're responsible for the accuracy of the brand information you give us and for making sure your product claims are true. We won't publish claims we can't stand behind.
• What’s yours stays yours. You own your brand materials and knowledge base. You give us permission to use them only to provide the service to you.
• What we make for you. Once paid for, the articles, drafts, images and other deliverables we produce for you are yours to use as you like. We keep the right to our own software, prompts and methods, and to use anonymised, aggregated data to improve them.

Accounts you connect

When you connect WordPress, Gmail, or an AI assistant, you authorise us to act in that account only as the feature describes, and you can disconnect at any time. Emails sent from your Gmail go out in your name: you approve them, and you're responsible for their content and for following the email laws that apply to you. WordPress pushes are drafts unless you turn on direct publishing. How we handle the data is in our Privacy Policy.

Fees

Fees, scope and billing terms are set in your order form or invoice. Payments are processed by Stripe. Unless your agreement says otherwise, invoices are due on receipt and fees are exclusive of taxes.

Refunds on pay-as-you-go comments

These rules applied to comments bought with a pay-as-you-go wallet balance. Refunds were always credited to the Tellr wallet, never to a card, and depended on what happened to the comment, not on who wrote it:

• Filtered before it posts → automatic wallet refund. If a subreddit's automated filter (Automod) caught a comment or post so that it never published, the credit returned to the wallet automatically.
• Removed after it publishes → no refund. Once a comment or post was live on Reddit it had been delivered and paid for. Removal afterwards — by a moderator or a filter acting after publication — is outside our control and was not refunded.
• Never posted → refund to wallet. A comment that could not be posted at all was credited back. One accepted but taking too long could be cancelled after 24 hours for full credit, and was cancelled automatically after 7 days.
• Editing a draft never affected a refund. The same rules applied whether or not you rewrote the draft.

Refunds for managed programs follow your order form.

Acceptable use

Tellr is for genuine, helpful participation. We follow each community's rules, and we decline work involving spam, harassment, deception, or anything that breaks a platform's rules. The details are in our Acceptable Use Policy.

Other platforms

Tellr is not affiliated with Reddit, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta or WordPress. Their rules, rankings and moderators are outside our control: a comment can be removed, a ranking can change, and an AI answer can stop citing a page. We work hard for results, but we don't guarantee any particular placement, ranking, citation, traffic or sales.

Confidentiality

We keep your non-public information confidential and use it only to provide the service. We ask the same of you for anything non-public about how Tellr works.

Liability

Tellr is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or reputation, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Ending the service

You can stop at any time, subject to any commitment in your order form. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. After closing, you can ask us for a copy of your data, and we'll delete it on request as described in the Privacy Policy. Content already published on Reddit or your site stays there unless removed.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the dashboard or by email.
