Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
These terms cover your use of Tellr. By creating an account or adding credit, you agree to them. We've kept them plain-language on purpose.
The service
Tellr finds relevant Reddit conversations for your brand and drafts replies in your voice. When you approve a reply, our operators post it from our own network of established Reddit accounts — never yours — and include the upvotes to help it land in the top replies. You review every draft before it goes out.
Pay as you go & billing
Signing up is free. Tellr is pay-as-you-go — there is no subscription and no contract. Each shipped comment costs $20 and includes up to 30 upvotes. You add credit to a balance (with volume discounts at higher tiers) and each shipped comment draws it down. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Refunds
Refunds are always credited to your Tellr wallet balance, never to your card. Whether a refund is due depends on what happened to the comment, not on who wrote it — editing a draft before it ships never affects your eligibility:
- Filtered before it posts → automatic wallet refund. If a subreddit's automated filter (Automod) catches a comment or post so that it never publishes, we automatically return the associated credit to your Tellr wallet balance. This is not a cash refund — it is a credit returned to your account balance.
- Removed after it publishes → no refund. Once a comment or post is live on Reddit it has been delivered, and we have paid to place it. If it is removed afterwards — by a moderator or by a filter that acts after publication — it may already have received impressions, and the removal is outside our control, so we cannot reimburse credits or payments for these cases.
- Never posted → refund to wallet. If a comment cannot be posted at all, we return the credit to your Tellr wallet balance. If one has been accepted but is taking too long, you can cancel it yourself after 24 hours for a full credit, and we cancel it for you automatically after 7 days.
- Editing a draft doesn't affect your refund. You can rewrite any draft before it ships. If the comment then never posts, or is removed by Automod, the credit comes back to your wallet exactly as it would have otherwise.
- Refunds go to your wallet, never your card. Any refund is credited back to your Tellr wallet balance for future comments. We do not refund to a credit card.
Your approval & responsibilities
You can keep an approval gate on so nothing goes live without your sign-off. You're responsible for the accuracy of the brand information you give us and for making sure your product claims are true. We won't post claims we can't stand behind.
Acceptable use
Tellr is for genuine, helpful participation in Reddit communities. We filter locked, archived, and rule-hostile subreddits, and we follow each community's rules. We may decline requests that would involve spam, harassment, deception, or anything that breaks Reddit's or a subreddit's rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the dashboard.
